We support people in maintaining their independence everyday.

Connies Carers is Guernsey’s leading provider of home care and palliative care services with over 15 years+ of experience and dedication to enhancing quality of life for others.

We are proud of our compassionate home care team who work tirelessly to deliver quality of life to others.

Supported Home Environment

Connies Carers are dedicated in providing compassionate, quality at home care to our clients; enabling them to live with dignity and respect, doing the things they enjoy in a safe and supportive home environment. Our responsible, team oriented working environment engenders the personal satisfaction and professional growth of our staff, which translates to enhanced well-being of our clients.

Our client’s rights and personal values are at the centre stage of everything we practise as Guernsey’s leading at home care service. Our aim is to ensure our clients enjoy fulfilled, independent and dignified lives whilst supported with the highest level of care.

As a professional healthcare company providing Social Care privately, we believe we have a ‘duty of care to all our clients’ and on occasion this may mean that we share confidential information with other professional service providers such as Doctors, Social Workers and HSC Social Care Teams or such like.

Confidentially is at the heart of our practice.

Our proud history – Celebrating 15+ Years

Connies Carers was established in April 2007 concentrating primarily on palliative care at home. Word spread of our unique and personal approach to caring for our clients and soon we were receiving several enquires in regard to general help and support within peoples homes in addition to the more specialised care we offer.

10 Years on Connies Carers are regarded as the industry experts that you can trust and rely on for palliative care and the ‘go to’ agency for general care and well being of people in their own homes needing additional support.

Our services are very much based around the client, putting together a bespoke care package accordingly, as we recognise everybody’s needs differ greatly.

Connies Carers offer a wide variety of services from, assisting with getting up, washing and dressing in the morning (doing the reverse in the evening), night sitting, taking out for appointments, taking out socially, going out to do the shopping or assisting the client with shopping, meal preparation and serving, to companionship and light domestic duties. We are also willing to offer holiday cover or respite care on an occasional basis.

Our staff are compassionate, experienced, knowledgeable, caring and kind, all of whom undertake training and police checks to meet the necessary requirements. I (Paula Burbridge Managing Director) pride myself on the fact the majority of our new clients are as a result of personal recommendations from existing users, Doctors and Health and Social Care Services.

Our leadership team

Our home healthcare management team is highly experienced in delivering exceptional care and support for clients – regardless of age or specific medical needs.

The leadership team at Connies Carers constantly discuss what home care means to them in order to exceed the expectations  of their clients and the respective families.

Connies Carers  is changing the way the world ages.
