“I would recommend anyone who is looking for care of their elderly relatives to consider Connie’s Carers. I was very satisfied with the service we received, I found everyone involved friendly, helpful, caring and willing to adapt to whatever the circumstances required.”
“We enlisted the services of Connie’s Carers when partner (in his early 50s) reached the advanced stages of a terminal neurological illness as we wanted him to remain at home. Connies Carers provided an exceptional level of care throughout the final months of his life and not only at a physical level but also on practical and emotional level and not just for my partner, the practical and emotional support provided to me throughout my involvement with Connie’s was unexpected, unwavering and invaluable! I can’t thank them enough for the care, kindness and laughter they provided at a difficult time for us. Their approach to our situation was holistic and the solutions they found or proposed to deal with all sorts of practical problems we had never faced before was a real game changer and when coupled with the rapport that my partner and I built with their team their service levels (at risk of repeating myself) are truly exceptional.”
“I have insufficient words to express my gratitude, admiration and respect for Connie’s Carers – that goes for Paula and all of her staff. The service provided to my parents went above and beyond and without a shadow doubt gave my parents a more dignified, a more comfortable and much happier end of life. Paula, in particular was able to win over my stubborn father and my somewhat irascible mother very quickly with her pragmatism, empathy and positivity. The individual carers with their different strengths worked wonders with my parents firmly but with kindness and compassion at all times. Whilst I spent a lot of time with my parents and the carers, I live in London and it was a great comfort to know that my parents were in such good hands. A very, very big thank you from me and the rest of my family.”
“Connie’s Carers looked after my wife during the last 21 months of her life. During that period she suffered from strokes and seizures, dementia and cancer. As her illness progressed so her daily care increased from four hours in the morning and four hours in the afternoon. During those dark days, the carers were an outstanding support and help to both my wife and myself. Without exception, their care was of the highest level; they demonstrated great patience and perseverance under demanding conditions, and nothing was too much trouble. They attended Anglican Church Services, despite many being Roman Catholic; they pushed her around on long walks in her wheelchair; they talked to her and encouraged her and played her favourite music. They brought her little gifts which gave her so much pleasure and made her liquid feed so she could eat – they had enormous reserves of love and care.
My family and I would wish to put on record our most grateful thanks to Connie’s Carers for their outstanding help during those dark days. We would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone who should have need for their services.”
